Embracing Change
“It’s not the strongest of species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.”
- Charles Darwin
Think about that. Most people and companies are not responsive to change at all. It’s not in our nature to embrace it. Usually, in a business setting it is because it is in some form dictated, and not communicated, or communicated well. Let’s face it, if you’re the boss, you’re signing the checks, and what you say “goes”. That fact alone makes it difficult for most owners to implement change effectively. Brightwood can be your agent for change, we can play the bad guy, or the good guy or simply be the change guy and listen objectively to push-back or apprehensions that always come with change.
We believe that Change is simply the process of getting your business “un-stuck”. The economy has caused so many to get stuck. Now is the time, more than ever, to implement changes you probably have talked about and always wondered why that sense of deja-vu creeps in when a good idea simply has not been implemented.
We can and will, objectively evaluate your needs and discuss what we see with you. We most definitely will state our opinion, along with becoming your sounding board, idea generator, coach or change agent depending on the circumstances. And, hopefully become the outside objective resource that is missing from your organization. Our work is always open, honest and presented as a positive opportunity for organizational improvement and opportunities for growth.
We are confident that if given the opportunity to take a sometimes critical, but always objective, look at your business that we will see things that you cannot. It is then that we can effectively assess the needs of your company, and help you make the necessary changes for long-term success. It can make all the difference as your business faces changing client/customer needs, unstable business climates, and increased competition.
